We chose Linden as a reflection of that purpose. We chose Linden to reflect our belief that understanding the care you need begins with understanding you.

Janet Meister
CO-FOUNDER
Janet Meister has called the Lowcountry home for nearly 30 years. A former professional ballet dancer, she later spent more than 15 years in the wedding and event industry, where she built her own business around personal attention, trusted relationships, and word-of-mouth referrals.Janet’s connection to Linden began through her own experience as a patient. While navigating perimenopause, she met Katherine “Kat” Cline and immediately felt comfortable discussing her symptoms and concerns. The care she received made a meaningful difference in her health and daily life, inspiring her belief in the value of a more personal approach to medicine.
When the opportunity arose to help establish Linden, Janet was eager to support Kat in bringing that approach to the Lowcountry. She brings firsthand experience as a business owner and a patient’s perspective on what it means to feel heard and cared for.
Janet looks forward to helping build a welcoming practice and supporting Linden’s growth in the community she has long called home. Outside of Linden, she shares her life with her husband, Matt, and their four Labrador retrievers, her four-legged children.

Katherine “Kat” Cline, APRN, AGACNP-BC
FOUNDER & NURSE PRACTICTIONER
Katherine “Kat” Cline is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner and the founder of Linden Concierge Medicine & Aesthetics. Her approach is thorough, approachable, and straightforward, with room for questions and honest conversation.Kat’s nursing career began in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she spent many years caring for critically ill patients. She completed her graduate nursing education at the University of South Carolina in 2021. Her critical care experience taught her to notice subtle changes, ask thoughtful questions, and stay focused on what matters most, even in complex situations. Those same principles guide her care at Linden: thorough evaluations, clear explanations, careful attention to detail, and a calm, steady presence.
Her clinical experience includes primary care, functional medicine, bioidentical hormone therapy, medical weight management, and aesthetics. Kat looks beyond an isolated symptom or lab result to understand what has changed and how it affects a patient’s daily life. She combines evidence-based medicine with individualized care, explaining her recommendations and developing a practical plan with each patient. Patients can speak openly about their concerns without fear of judgment.
Kat founded Linden to give this work the time and attention it deserves - a practice where she can listen carefully, connect the dots, and help patients understand what comes next, with support that continues beyond the appointment.
Outside the practice, Kat enjoys time on the water, live music, exploring the Lowcountry’s food scene, and spending time with friends and family.
In-Person & Remote Appointments Available
Initial and annual visits are required to be in-person. When appropriate, follow up appointments may be remote.
Our office is conveniently located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
